NetApp has collaborated closely with Red Hat for many years to deliver enhancements to the Red Hat portfolio solutions, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization and the Red Hat OpenStack platform. These enhancements enable NetApp to continually deliver a more seamless experience to its customers.

As the VP of Global and Strategic Alliances, I am extremely delighted NetApp has been named Industry Solution Partner of the Year at Red Hat’s 2017 North America Partner Conference in Las Vegas on March 28, 2017. This award recognizes NetApp for being a partner who has significantly impacted the industry with Red Hat solutions. The award not only highlights NetApp’s dedication to its partners, but the importance of its commitment to working together with partners to meet customer needs.

A recent example was our collaboration with Red Hat to architect an infrastructure for a large financial institution that would allow them to better serve their internal customers. Although their existing supplier was offering a free upgrade, the NetApp/Red Hat sales team demonstrated how the joint offering was a much better solution. The customer trusted our collaborative approach, deep technical know-how and partnership commitment. By working together, NetApp and Red Hat delivered great value to the customer while at the same time increasing market share.

Winning this award from Red Hat reinforces the fact that NetApp has built a culture of cooperation and collaboration. We will continue to work with Red Hat and our other partners to create solutions that deliver value and delight our customers.
