NetApp Insight Las Vegas 2016 has come to a close, and though it may be over, the connections we’ve made and the messages we’ve shared continue to live on.

The event may officially be a wrap, but we can’t say goodbye until we’ve said thank you. To all those who supported our critical work on the ground, who helped plan the event, who traveled to Las Vegas to participate, and who talked shop with us until late in the night: a sincere thank-you. We could not have done it without you.

At The Booth

Throughout the last four days at the booth, we greeted a steady stream of customers and partners – putting faces to names, answering questions, and making introductions. And on Tuesday, NetApp CEO George Kurian stopped by to chat about the Cisco-NetApp partnership.

Session, Bootcamps, and Roundtables
Between the speakers, sessions, and socials, it was a whirlwind week. Cisco VP Satinder Sethi’s presence at Monday’s general session with NetApp EVP of WW Field and Customer Operations, Henri Richard, kicked off a series of powerful sessions, all linked together with a common theme surrounding the collaborative power of partnerships like Cisco and NetApp’s. From Jeremy Oakey and Ikramullah Mohammed on FlexPod’s capabilities with Cisco ONE, to Craig Ashapa on Cisco UCS storage, to John George on the FlexPod DataCenter with Cisco ACI.

Social Media
Our presence at Insight was amplified and publicized on social media through our many social ambassadors and our direct engagement through the ? Twitter handle. One of our many highlights was a video interview with Dawn Duross, Sr. Director of Cisco Global Strategic and Partner Organization, about the future of FlexPod and the strategic Cisco relationship with NetApp.

We were able to connect event further with our friends through the Find FlexPodNow social activation game, where guests hunted and tweeted pictures of FlexPod signs throughout the expo floor to win a daily Amazon Echo prize.

Networking and Events
It wasn’t all work and no play, though. Monday’s Car Karaoke activity was, well… a hit! Throughout the week, our other socials and networking events were a blast, and we got to spend some much-needed downtime with our customers and partners at the private Andy Grammer concert that closed out Insight.

Thanks again to all who made our participation in this year’s NetApp Insight such a resounding success. We’ll see you in Berlin!
