SPC-1 Testing Validates Breakthrough NVMe Performance
Based on a new Storage Performance Council SPC-1 Result, the AFF A800 achieved 2,401,171 SPC-1 IOPS™ at 0.590 SPC-1 IOPS™ Response Time. This places the A800 as number 1 overall in terms of SPC-1 Response Time and makes it the top-performing enterprise all-flash array among the industry’s leading storage providers as well as in the top 4 on the SPC-1 Performance list.
According the Chris Mellor of the Register, “NetApp’s system delivered the most performance (IOPS) at both the lowest response time and lowest $/GB than any of the other vendors in the top 10.“
One of the benefits of AFF is that it provides consistent industry-leading performance whether or not efficiency features are enabled.
